BCR Set-Up Wins 5th Straight GT-1 Championship

BCR wins Ontario GT-1 Pirelli Sprint Championship for 2020 with the #120 TA2 Trans-Am Camaro! 

To make things even better, Mark Busscher, also running out of the BCR garage wins 2^nd in the Championship, with his #184 TA2 Camaro, a great accomplishment in only his second year of competing with this car.

Due to Covid restrictions, our cars that normally would be competing south of the border were sitting around. We made the decision early on to enter one of the cars in every race of the series, something we have never done due to other obligations. We used the year not only to have fun but tune and develop the car, which we did. Every weekend we showed up with improvements and a different set-up, and until the last weekend (due to track conditions and traffic in quali) we were always able to improve the car and achieve a faster lap time.

The GT1 class has improved tremendously over the years; it is bigger than ever in recent memory, and consists of many cars that are capable of winning. These TA2 machines are definitely not the fastest, but are tuned to the maximum and we enjoyed 100% reliability with both cars.  Many thanks to our crew, Mike, Jeff, Zac, Brian, Norm, Cam, Martin for their hard work, knowledge and expertise in keeping the cars sound and reliable.

We are also very proud that the GT-1 Sprint Championship in Ontario has been won by a BCR built and set-up race car for the last 5 years in a row!
