In an effort to take our program to the next level, BCR arranged a shaker rig test at the Multimatic facility in Markham, Ontario with the #78 Trans-Am TA2 Camaro. Shaker rigs, among other things, are used to optimize spring/shock combinations thus achieving ideal damping levels for a certain spring package.… Read more....

12208774_10208007405893570_3754209652003047040_n Great weather, lots of cars, fierce competition and plenty of rubbing-banging marked the SCCA finale at Daytona. BC Race Cars had 3 entries, Andrew Romocki in TA, and Mike McGahern and Jordan Bernloehr in TA2.

Testing and practise were uneventful for all three cars; each driver/team trying their best to dial in the set-up, do the full fuel load runs, and get ready for qualifying.… Read more....

gallery_large7BC Race Cars was divided as we had two TA2 cars running at Virginia International Raceway with SCCA Trans-Am as well as supporting two cars at the final club race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.

After thrashing to repair the #07, BCR made it to beautiful Road America in Wisconsin to compete in round 8 of the Trans-Am series. We took the same three cars that raced at Mid-Ohio just 2 weeks prior, Allan Lewis in the #15 TA Corvette, Mike McGahern in his #48 TA2 Camaro, and Jordan Bernloehr in our house car, the #07 Green machine.… Read more....

gallery_large5Round 5 of the SCCA Trans-Am series travelled to New Jersey for the Weekend of Thunder. BCR had two entries in the TA2 class, Mike McGahern in the #48 Camaro and newcomer Jordan Bernloehr in the house #07 green machine.

Neither BCR or our drivers have ever raced at this track, so Thursday’s testing was crucial to make the required adjustments and allow our drivers to learn.… Read more....
