As many of you know, BC Race Cars has been involved in Trans-Am for 20 years, in both TA and TA2, achieving many podiums in both categories. As the series evolved, it made less and less business sense for us to continue. But we always felt that being involved in professional racing was crucial for our provincial level business, and NASCAR Canada provided a great opportunity.
We purchased a used car a few months ago, and decided to enter the Clarington 200 at CTMP. We were welcome with open arms and really enjoyed our first experience.

As expected, we have a TON to learn about these cars and how they operate. Our humble goal was to finish, and finish in the top 15. We did slightly better, qualified 12th and were running as high as 5th when a side contact broke the right rear hub. Somehow our driver Josh Hurley brought the car home with the broken hub, but we dropped to 11th at the end.
Our crew did a fantastic job, we all had to learn how to do live pit stops and they stepped up. I would like to thank them all for their hard work and enthusiasm in this new challenge.
Many thanks to our sponsors, Catcart Trucking, Akers Auto Glass and OK Tire (Lindsay) who invested in a new team.
Funded drivers interested in competing in the series, please contact Blaise for availability and pricing.
