What a weekend for BC Race Cars at Calabogie Motorsports Park! The new asphalt did not disappoint — an already incredible facility is now an absolute must-drive for any racer.
Leroy Micallef and the #40 Mustang took on CMP for the first time and learned fast! After qualifying P3, Leroy battled his way to two 2nd-place finishes and a 3rd-place finish, putting him firmly in the hunt for the GTU Championship!
Blaise Csida driving the #10 BC Race Cars Camry (our super TA2 car) in GT1, also had a successful weekend, although not without drama. We miscalculated on gearing, and were stuck with using only 3 of the 5 gears available. We still managed to get pole position with the first sub-2-minute lap by a sedan at CMP!
After a tough P3 in Race 1, we came back swinging on Sunday with back-to-back wins and an even faster lap on 3-cycle tires!
A huge weekend for the whole BCR team — 3 wins, multiple podiums, pole position, and a little history made along the way!
Watch the #10 Camry go sub-2 minutes at Calabogie during R3!
