BC Race Cars entered our newest rental ride, the #182 Ford Taurus ASA Stock Car, in the G90 Classic top class at the Canadian Vintage Festival. Before renting it to a customer, we wanted to make sure the car performed flawlessly, was easy to drive and competitive. We dominated the weekend, qualifying on the pole, and winning all 4 races!
But the weekend wasn’t without some issues! The crew worked thru them all, repairing certain mechanical gremlins and making set-up changes just about every session. We even had a rain session where we found our defroster system was not up to the task. We worked on that for hours only to have no more rain for next 2 days.
We also wanted to congratulate Del Bruce on winning 3 of the 4 CL-1 class races, including the feature race on Sunday. While Del runs himself on race weekends, BCR is proud to have engineered and prepared his Vintage historically correct Corvette.
