Driver Announcement For BCR at Sebring

We are stoked to announce that Josh Hurley will be driving the #20 2024 BC Race Cars Mustang in round 1 of the SCCA Pro Trans-Am series at Sebring International Raceway February 22-25, 2024.

Josh is not a stranger to professional driving; he won the TDI Championship, podium at the World Lambo Finals, 2 out of 2 podiums in Trans-Am, and numerous track records in various race cars as well as vast experience in GT4. But he has never driven a TA2 car.

We met Josh years ago; he was the coaching Kent Vaccaro, a young rising race car driver, who was testing a BCR TA2 car to race for us at the Trans-Am TA2 event at the Glen, finishing 7^th . We immediately hit it off and were impressed by his coaching as well as engineering talents. We have been friends since, often dreaming of the opportunity to put him in our cars.

“I’m so excited to be driving for BC Race Cars. Blaise and I have been trying to find a way to make this happen for years and it’s finally happening. We’ve gotten to work together a few times in other ways and things just clicked, so we’re expecting the same when I get in the car. I’m also really looking forward to finally having a go in TA2 in general. I have a lot of long-time friends who run up front, and I’m ready to have them run one spot worse”
