BC Race Cars have not had a chance to post our stories after each round of the SCCA Pro Trans-Am TA2 races, mostly because we have been incredibly busy just trying to make the next round. BCR had high hopes going into the first round of the SCCA Trans-Am race, held at Sebring, FL. With two brand new cars and a couple of days of testing behind us, we knew we had the speed to be competitive.
Both cars performed exceptionally thru testing, practise and qualifying. Michele in the #30 BCR/Ghost Mustang was doing great, making positions during the first part of the race, trying to finish the race and stay out of trouble.… Read more....
With two Trans-Am TA2 cars to build in a short time, the BC Race Cars team was very busy thru the holidays. We are happy to report that the first car is 100% completed.
Complicating matters was the constant shortage of parts and materials. Some parts for this car were ordered in August, luckily we have plenty of experience having built 10 of these machines for ourselves and customers in the last few years and knew what to order well in advance.… Read more....
We are ecstatic to announce that Michele Abbate and Misha Goikhberg will join BC Race Cars to compete full-time in the Trans-Am TA2 National Pro series for 2022. Before we can race, we need to get the car and equipment down there. We had a catastrophic failure with our tow vehicle early in our trip, breaking the clutch/flywheel/starter motor, as well as cracking the transmission case in the process. After a scary crash at Watkins Glen, the crew at BC Race Cars spent many hours carefully re-constructing our flagship #20 TA2 Camaro. The damage was extensive, but easily repairable.

In what seemed like a very short season, the Ontario Pirelli GT Championships came to end with the final round at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. The GT-1/GT-2 field has become one of the premier leagues in club racing with big fields and awesome competition, and BCR is proud to be part of and supporting many of our competitors with our services.… Read more....
As always, beautiful weather and ideal track conditions marked round #3 of the Ontario Pirelli GT Sprints championship at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. The field was massive, and great racing thru the entire field marked the event.

We were happy to be back racing with Trans-Am at the scenic Watkins Glen Raceway, showcasing our new TA2 car, the #0 2021 Camaro.
Driver Misha Goikhberg had extensive experience with the development of this car, having tested it locally at Mt. Tremblant and Calabogie. And we showed up quick out of the box, placing top 3 in both test sessions and P2 in our official practise.… Read more....
Round 2 of the Ontario Pirelli GT Championship was held at Calabogie Motorsports Park and BCR participated with our #120 TA2 Camaro driven by Misha Goikhberg (making a rare appearance in club racing) and the ASA rental stock car, driven by yours truly.
