SCCA Trans-Am organized their inaugural private 2-day test at Sebring, and BC Race Cars Inc. was happy to support the event. As usual, 2 perfect days of weather, one hot and more humid and one cooler for optimizing various set-ups.

BC Race Cars is ecstatic to announce the addition of Barry Boes to our SCCA Pro Trans-Am program for 2023. Barry will be piloting our TA2 Camaro, at least until the new build for him is completed, probably halfway thru the season.
Barry brings years of experience in TA2 to our program, having run his own car for a few seasons with ARX Motorsports. … Read more....
Our first full time effort, with two cars, in the SCCA Pro-Trans-Am series, TA2 class, did not go well, certainly not what we anticipated or dreamed.
In fact, it was a miserable year. A combination of bad luck, huge parts shortages, lack of tires for testing, drivers and team errors, crashes, and some questionable officiating made for a year to forget.… Read more....
We are super excited to have Tony Ave back driving for BC Race Cars for the season finale of the Trans-Am by Pirelli’s TA2 class at COTA, Austin TX.
BC Race Cars #30 TA2 Mustang , the sister car to Misha Goikhberg’s #10 & #20 cars, have tested equally. It has demonstrated exceptional reliability with Michele Abbate at the wheel, completing approximately 50 sessions thru 11 race weekends. … Read more....
BC Race Cars have not had a chance to post our stories after each round of the SCCA Pro Trans-Am TA2 races, mostly because we have been incredibly busy just trying to make the next round. With 5 races in only 9 weeks from Sebring to Atlanta and California, lots of crash damage and total lack of availability of parts proved almost too much, even for a full-time, professional team.… Read more....
BCR had high hopes going into the first round of the SCCA Trans-Am race, held at Sebring, FL. With two brand new cars and a couple of days of testing behind us, we knew we had the speed to be competitive.
Both cars performed exceptionally thru testing, practise and qualifying. Michele in the #30 BCR/Ghost Mustang was doing great, making positions during the first part of the race, trying to finish the race and stay out of trouble.… Read more....
With two Trans-Am TA2 cars to build in a short time, the BC Race Cars team was very busy thru the holidays. We are happy to report that the first car is 100% completed.
Complicating matters was the constant shortage of parts and materials. Some parts for this car were ordered in August, luckily we have plenty of experience having built 10 of these machines for ourselves and customers in the last few years and knew what to order well in advance.… Read more....
We are ecstatic to announce that Michele Abbate and Misha Goikhberg will join BC Race Cars to compete full-time in the Trans-Am TA2 National Pro series for 2022. In our 17 years of running with Trans-Am, this is the first time that we will participate in the entire schedule, and not just with one but two drivers!… Read more....
Before we can race, we need to get the car and equipment down there. We had a catastrophic failure with our tow vehicle early in our trip, breaking the clutch/flywheel/starter motor, as well as cracking the transmission case in the process. Needless to say, we found a solution; Joe Stevens (Stevens-Miller Racing) was kind enough to rent us one of his vehicles.… Read more....
